Overview
The Ninja is a 'run & gun' game, published and developed by Sega, released 1985 for Arcades and Sega home consoles.
The Ninja is a port of a game originally released in arcades, Ninja Princess. It made its way over to the Sega console with a few changes. One of the changes was the lead character: originally a female, now a male; other changes included changing the scene of numerous stages as well as a scroll system in which you had to collect five green scrolls to progress to the final level. If you didn't collect all of the scrolls, you would have to back-track and collect the remaining scrolls.
