Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle

A "battle royale" take on the traditional Pac-Man formula. As one of 64 Pac-Men, try to stop yourself from being eliminated while invading other players' mazes to cause them mischief.

Overview

Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle was a multiplayer-focused versus maze game developed by Heavy Iron Studios and released by Bandai Namco for the Google Stadia on November 17, 2020. Despite the original version being discontinued with the Stadia, an expanded release is planned on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC sometime in 2024 as Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs.

In Mega Tunnel Battle, players play games in the traditional Pac-Man formula as large-scale multiplayer matches, with up to 64 players playing at once. As a customizable Pac-Man, players start in their own maze and must prevent themselves from being eliminated by accumulating score and not running out of lives, with the overall goal to be the last Pac-Man standing.

Unlike the later Pac-Man 99, Mega Tunnel Battle allows players to invade other players' mazes through special tunnels and use Power Pellets to eat opposing Pac-Men (similar to Pac-Man Battle Royale). Special power-ups can also be found to stun enemies and protect themselves.
